Reindeer experiences are a great way to experience live Reindeer up close and personal. Learn about these amazing animals as one of our Reindeer experts guide you on a tour of the ranch. Immerse yourself in the magic of Sawtooth Reindeer!
Your Reindeer experience will begin with a warm welcome from our staff and a short check in process. Here we will go through a painless boot and hand sanitization process to keep our Reindeer safe. You will then listen to a short presentation on our ranch and reindeer, followed by a quick safety briefing for when we enter the Reindeer pens.
Once the important things are covered we will enter the pens where you will get to feed, pet, interact, and take pictures with the Reindeer. You will get to spend 20 minutes watching them play together!
After the 20 minutes with the girls, we will go visit the boys. Our two bulls are absolutely beautiful and you won’t want to miss seeing them. Depending on the time of year you visit the ranch, you may not get to go in their pen, but you will still be able to feed them through the fence. This is for your safety, because bulls can be a little worked up at certain times of the year.
Your Reindeer experience will last approximately 45min and takes place outside. Please dress for the season, as well as the weather for the day of your experience. We look forward to seeing you at the ranch!

Note: Sheep and goats carry a disease that is deadly to Reindeer. Out of an abundance of caution we ask that you not have any contact with either sheep or goats for 3 days before your visit. Please wear freshly washed cloths and footwear that have not come in contact with sheep or goats.
